The authors & owners of these various web sites don't necessarily agree with each other. Thus, referencing several Points Of View are an integral part of this blog & the Internet at large. Consumer_products especially, Consumer Electronics drive theeconomy. Yet when the economy slows down, consumption-and-consumerism tend to slow down. The system is set up to turn most people into a consumer, whether you like it or not. Eventually some people get very frustrated with the system and globalCommercialism. While it seems that THE $Y$TEM is here to stay, that doesn't mean that everyone will want to buy into a hyper-commercialized data-world.
A commercial Network continually needs to reach new customers. Some people just want to live Fast & large. The Food processing business continues to grow to meet the needs of a continually expanding human population on a limited world. A BIG Corporation is quite a balancing act.
Adbusters & worklessparty.org try to remind people that they don't have to be an uber-consumer just for the sake of it. At the end of the day, people have to continually buy supplies & some occasional luxury items. In better economic times more people are inclined to have more money & thus have a Disposable_income. However, so many people have spent far beyond their means & have experienced a personal financial CRA$H. Some information & marketing businesses continue to grow.
Google has truly become a global data giant by design & popular demand but some people wish that there was a non commercial version. Over the years, Facebook has become very popular but then some people started to realize that perhaps there is too much of their personal information out in the open web. More & more people are watching-tv-and-twittering-at-the-same-time-these-days & IPv6will enable even more simultaneous data-flow.
By the end of the 21st Century's first decade, the world had become quite an interconnected infomercial. Immense social networks & vast data mining systems are here to stay, all people can do is try to be more cautious. Its getting tougher for many people to earn a comfortable standard of living. Its one thing if a person really wants to work almost every day of the week, but when people are forced to become a Workaholic simply to pay the bills, that's A$$oholic.
Money Towers is a branch this reference project. Lots of people for various reasons have provided the funding for office, residential & mixed use commercial towers.
